DivineMelody aka MC Divine was born as Stephanie de Wit on the isle of Curacao (Dutch Caribbean) in 1985. Born into a creative family, she has been performing since she was a little girl: acting, dancing and last but not least singing. At the age of 10 she moved to the Netherlands with her mother and little sister. Of all places in the Netherlands, they ended up in Friesland where she finished her high school. In 2004 Divine moved, without hesitation, to the city of The Hague to broaden her horizon. Here she started and finished her HEBO, an European study at the Haagse Hogeschool, and in 2006 she began her career as a Vocal MC at the Gay Palace in Rotterdam.

After getting into the groove of mc-ing on house music, Divine perfomed together with big names like Fedde Le Grand, Lucien Foort, Baggi Begovic, Gregor Salto, Madskillz, Sidney Samson, Erick E, Jip Deluxe, Marcella, Carita la Niña, Tony Cha Cha, Jean, Oliver Twizt, Franky Rizardo, Groovenatics, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, MC Andy Sherman and MC Lady Bee just to name a few. Divine also performed at parties and clubs like Chocolatin @ Club Rembrandt, O.B. & Framebusters @ Escape, Manjefiek @ Club Le Paris, de Rechter, Flirtation @ Panama, Sneakerz @ BLM9 & Brunotti, Hed Kandi @ Hotel Arena, Hang-Over & The Rebel Club @ Club Home, Sneakerz Festival & Lake Dance Festival @ Aqua Best and many, many more.
Divine also worked together on some tracks with Paul Rich, Baramuda, Cliff Jones & Oliver Twizt. Divine is still working on some projects with big names, so stay tuned for some more action!

Next to singing on Lounge and House music, Divine used to perform in a gospel band in Friesland in 2001. In 2002 she was part of the rock band "Divine Melody" and in 2007/2008 she rocked in the upcoming Dutch Hip Hop group called Vadis Music”.

Finally, Divine has come to that point in life where she wants to be. After a huge success as MC in Madrid and winning third prize in the Fresh Cotton / Sneakerz MC Contest 2008 for a contract at 1Management, baby steps became giant steps. MC Divine is now ready to conquer the
rest of Europe!!!
